Greetings and salutations, my friends!
If I sound uncharacteristically chipper, it is because I am still celebrating the amazing wave of change that is sweeping over our nation and the world this week. I know that I don’t need to get specific but I WILL say that I have just begun a new research project as a result of this unprecedented historical moment: “Love Lift Us Up Where We Belong”: Black Love in the Obama Era. Stay tuned for more on that!
ALL NEW YORK HEADS….please come check out my next show at Tillman’s in Chelsea on Monday, November 24th at 8PM (see below). I will be doing two short, sweet, sexy, and best of all FREE sets! This place is very cute and has really cool food and drinks so def come through. You never know who you might run into. 
Finally, I will be doing a set for my bday celebration week in early December. I’ll give you more details on that one after my Tillman’s hit…I am such a tease!
Anyway, I get my Ethnology mid-term back tomorrow so pray for me. This is my first step towards pursuing one of my other dreams…working towards a PhD in Anthropology.
